This weather station is powered by a Davis Wireless Vantage Vue Weather Station. This station comprises
of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.
The raw data is collected every 2.5 seconds and the web site is updated every 5 to 10 minutes.
Alerts and Advisories are uploaded every 10 minutes.

This owner has recently received storm spotter training from N.O.A.A. Phoenix office and now is officially
a member of the Sky Warn storm spotters program. This means that severe weather events observed at this station
will be directly be reported to the Phoenix Weather Service Office. The Sky Warn Program helps the N.W.S. verify
where severe weather events are occuring and helps validate the weather warnings they issue.

Glendale is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, USA, located about nine miles northwest from downtown Phoenix.
It was founded in February of 1892 and according to 2009 Census Bureau estimates, the population is currently 276,531.
